Its Winter

It looks like winter has officially arrived here in Colorado. Snow up to 7 inches in some areas, wind has been blowing like a cheap whore the last two days......in other words its FUCKING COLD!!! I can not stand this time of year, winter is just not my thing. Yes, I know..I live in Colorado, if I don't like it why don't I move?!! Well, I honestly would like to. New Mexico, Arizona, something in that realm would be nice where snow is usually something you only see on TV. But a good government job will keep you grounded. Besides, days like this are rare throughout the season, in fact its suppose to be in the 60s by Saturday and the mountain views are superb! I'm fickle, I can admit it. Its just when you get days like this.....reminds me of everything I hate about winter. On the up side of days like this....I do like spooning with the wife on the couch with a bowl of popcorn, a good bottle of wine (one for each of us), all while watching a bloody action packed zombie movie. Nothing spells romance like that.
So, yes, it could be worse.....I could be living in Kansas....with the cold and the wind and snow, that never leaves until the very end of spring. Not to mention the political leanings of that state. A winter of that and I would be doing a Kurt Cobain impersonation.....no offense Kurt.....but you know what I mean.

First Post

Well......here we go. I'm going to give blogging a shot. Everyone is doing it, so why shouldn't I?. My brain is full of so much shit maybe this will help me clear it out a little. So, yes, it will be more of the same.....rants and ravings....of my choice. Some serious, some funny, probably more that make absolutely no fucking sense.......but hey, I'm not trying to impress anyone other than myself while at the same time immortalizing myself on the inter-wide-webs.
